Leadership Middle Tennessee Announces Class of 2025 and Names New Board Members
Nashville, TN: Leadership Middle Tennessee (LMT) selected 41 business and community leaders for the LMT Class of 2025 and named five new alumni board members. LMT, a regional leadership program founded in 2000, brings together outstanding leaders in Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Maury, Montgomery, Robertson, Rutherford, Sumner, Williamson, and Wilson counties to study issues affecting Middle Tennessee from a regional perspective and work together to strengthen their collective impact in the region. The year-long program, which kicks off with a two-day opening retreat August 22-23, consists of a monthly program in one of 10 Middle Tennessee counties that includes interactive presentations, facilitated dialogue, behind-the scenes visits, and experiential adventures designed to help participants gain a greater understanding of critical issues affecting Middle Tennessee.
“We look forward to welcoming the Class of 2025,” said LMT President Lee Rucks. “It is so important that our regional leaders learn not only how our counties are all different, but also how we are all connected.”
LMT also named five alums, Julia Baker (Class of 2020, Davidson County), Michelle Balsley (Class of 2023, Dickson County), Ace Timmermeier (Class of 2022, Robertson County), Kimberly Wiggins (Class of 2020, Montgomery County), and Susan Williams (Class of 2018, Sumner County), to serve on the board of directors.
